As a Pentest Hero client, you can choose or be matched with a pentester from our network, to have those pentests delivered inside the Pentest Hero portal. That means you can work with a range of pentesters to meet different pentest needs, with all results delivered in the same portal, following the same processes, and with the same oversight from your teams.

Meet the Partner: CyberInsight
CyberInsight is a cybersecurity firm based in Cape Town South Africa, offering a range of cybersecurity assessment and monitoring services. Its pentesting and cybersecurity assessments primarily focus on web app and network penetration tests, with vulnerability management, penetration testing, and cyber maturity assessment delivered through a digital portal.
CyberInsight has been in business since 2020 and has been with Pentest Hero since 2021. It’s also grown rapidly in that time, with year-on-year growth of 200% and tripling the size of its pentest team in 3 years. The firm is also proud to share that its clients are almost entirely recurring, with 90% coming back, year-on-year, for ongoing testing.

Testing with CyberInsight
As a long-term Pentest Hero pentester, CyberInsight was able to easily adapt to and deliver pentests inside the Cyver Core platform and following our processes.
“Running pentests with Pentest Hero was good. It’s a learning experience, and Pentest Hero and CyberInsight are both learning. We’ve been using the Cyver platform for a long time so everything went smoothly.” says Theodor Craggs of Cyber Insight.
CyberInsight took on its first project for an existing Pentest Hero Client. The team spent about a week on testing, and then delivered results fully in the portal. The client, a SaaS provider, typically works with Pentest Hero for a yearly compliance and security assessment. CyberInsight took over and delivered everything following Pentest Hero’s processes.
“The type of assessment and the client were a good match”, adds Theodor, “Luis matched us up and I think it went really well”.
The client followed up on the pentest report and the vulnerabilities in the platform and requested retesting after remediating found vulnerabilities. CyberInsight already provides retests to its own clients, just like Pentest Hero.
“The client was very happy, they even wrote an email stating how happy they were with the pentest, the results, and our communication.”
Moving Forward
Pentest Hero’s Pentest Partner program ensures we can offer pentesting to our clients, on an on-demand basis, while ensuring a good match between client needs and pentester specialization. With CyberInsight, that process went as smoothly as possible, allowing us to start off our new program
